Purchase a set of personal hair clippers for 15.00-30.00, or splurge a bit on the professional grade clippers that cost $99.00 or so. While using the guards cut your hair as low and or as well as you can cut it. If you are talented enough and have design/artistic skills you can do exactly what the barbers have done for you.
